Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), Los Angeles Branch is responsible for promoting Korea as a travel destination, with the consequent goal of increasing visitor numbers. We primarily focus on the interaction with media, tour operators, travel agents, meeting planners, the Korean community and general travel consumers in Western part of the United States and Latin America. The KTO will target each of these specific demographic groups through press releases, trade shows, advertising, promotions, SNS marketing, and more.
The Western region is comprised of 13 states, which include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Latin America includes Mexico and all countries in Central and South America. We are also responsible for staying visible among community leaders and maintaining a high-level presence.

Media Relations
We create and communicate newsworthy announcements, press releases, and other material to the meida, tourism industry, and general public.

Travel Industry Promotion
We maintain contact with more than 150 tour operators within the designated 13 states, including nearly 15 Korean-American agencies. Additionally the western region database contains more than 1,500 travel agencies within the region. Promotions to tour operators and retail travel agents include personal contacts, tour program development assistance, direct monthly mailings, and trade show.

MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)
We help event professionals, meeting planners and incentive organizers from around the world plan and execute successful events in Korea.

Advertising
We implement a variety of tactics to stimulate interest in trip to Korea by generating impactful and positive local, regional and national press coverage in print, online and broadcast outlets. The campaigns feature experiential elements, robust social media content and coordinated media relations in top media market.
